Interpreter of Maladies
Interpreter of Maladies
by Jhumpa Lahiri
fiction
4/5
.
A great light read after a big book. A compilation of short stories based on characters seeking love interrupted by circumstances. Most of her stories are based on an Indian and Pakistan origin. I enjoyed reading Jhumpas first works. I learned a bit about the Indian government and the lives of immigrants and first generation of Americans. She is also the author of Namesake, which I read some time ago and a Pulitzer prize winner for fiction.
