I went to the book store today and discovered A Great and Terrible Beauty is actually one of three books. Then going a little further down the aisle I discovered that the City of Ember has four installments. I didn't really care for The City of Ember as much especially after reading the Hunger Games. Both about the end of the world and saving mankind. However, I bought the Borders special edition trilogy anyway. It includes the City of Ember, The people of Sparks, and The Prophet of Yonwood. The fourth book.... I figure I might as well give it a shot and then I will be able to pass it down to my eleven year old son.
Also despite my rating and review of a Great and Terrible Beauty. I am really interested in seeing what happens to Gemma. I had to order them online at Amazon but I am excited about starting them.
